Getting to Audley End Organic Kitchen Gardens

By car:

Audley End House is about 1 mile west of Saffron Walden on the B1383.

The M11 is the nearest motorway link to the area. From the south take the 'Stump Cross' exit J9 and follow the B1383. Take the J1O exit onto the A505 if approaching from the north. Follow the brown tourist board signs to Audley End House.

There are frequent train services running from Liverpool Street and Stansted, or from Cambridge, to Audley End Station, a mainline station about a mile and a half from Audley End House. There is a taxi rank opposite the station as well as a bus service from the rail station.

Cycle 1.25 miles along the B1383, from Audley End mainline rail station to the gardens. (see map above)

Please note: The Organic Kitchen Garden closes 30 minutes before the closing time advertised for the other gardens at Audley End.
